Tuesday, November 2, 2010Google rarely contacts Gmail users via email, but we are making an
exception to let you know that we've reached a settlement in a lawsuit
regarding Google Buzz (http://buzz.google.com), a service we launched
within Gmail in February of this year.
Shortly after its launch, we heard from a number of people who were
concerned about privacy. In addition, we were sued by a group of Buzz users
and recently reached a settlement in this case.
The settlement acknowledges that we quickly changed the service to address
users' concerns. In addition, Google has committed $8.5 million to an
independent fund, most of which will support organizations promoting
privacy education and policy on the web. We will also do more to educate
people about privacy controls specific to Buzz. The more people know about
privacy online, the better their online experience will be.
Just to be clear, this is not a settlement in which people who use Gmail
can file to receive compensation. Everyone in the U.S. who uses Gmail is
included in the settlement, unless you personally decide to opt out before
December 6, 2010. The Court will consider final approval of the agreement
on January 31, 2011. This email is a summary of the settlement, and more
detailed information and instructions approved by the court, including
instructions about how to opt out, object, or comment, are available at
http://www.BuzzClassAction.com.

DIA tidak pernah meletakkan dirinya sebagai popular atau dikenali ramai. TAK sukar menjangka, apabila ada pendapat yang kurang menyenangkan atau tidak memihak mengenai Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, reaksi peminatnya memang lebih cepat daripada biasa. Bertuah Tok Ti kerana peminatnya sentiasa setia bersama - sejak belum kenal Gucci sehinggalah sudah mampu pakai LV.
MELIHAT kepada senarai akhir Top 5 Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (ABPBH) 2009 yang baru saja diumumkan pada 20 Januari lalu, pasti ramai peminat yang terkejut apabila beberapa wajah sinonim dengan anugerah ini tidak tersenarai.
BIAR pembabitannya di persada muzik tanah air masih dianggap baru, namun hayunan langkah seni Amanda Imani semakin meyakinkan apabila bakatnya mula diiktiraf ramai.
SEDANG bergolek-golek di atas tilam yang empuk semalam, Cik Normah terpandang program Langkah Mawi World 2 yang membawa penonton mengembara ke Hong Kong. Sebelum ini Cik Normah jarang dapat menonton. Maklumlah sibuk dengan kerja, lepas tu nak menguruskan rumah tangga pula.
TERSENTAK Cik Normah mendengar keluhan seorang pelakon baru yang bimbang tak boleh nak cari makan jika di Malaysia ada pengarah berperangai macam ini. Pengarah ini mungkin tidak popular tetapi jika disebut namanya mungkin ada sesetengah yang akan mengenali kerana pencapaiannya bukan sedikit dalam dunia pengarahan.
TAHUN ini membuka satu lagi lembaran baru buat kumpulan nasyid Syifa di persada seni nasyid tanah air. Kesinambungan daripada Syifa Tour 09 (ST09), kini kumpulan itu meneruskan usaha promosinya dengan siri jelajah Syifa Tour 09/10 (ST09/10).
