Deep in the heart of Texas.

Today's Texas-sized Shelter Shoutout goes out to The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter in Georgetown, TX. As the only shelter solely devoted to caring for the lost and unhoused animals of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Hutto, Leander, Georgetown and Williamson County, this amazing facility rescues over 7,000 animals each year. Check-out our video to see the shelter, learn about their mission and meet a few of the adorable and adoptable pets who call it home.

With support from Hill's Science Diet, Pet Supplies Plus is able to donate much needed food and supplies to animal shelters across the country. Being part of the greater Austin community too, we take a ton of pride in being able to support them with donation drives and in-store adoptions.

Adopt Bones!

Cristina began volunteering at The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter in 2022. Bones had arrived just a few months prior and the two soon became best friends. Cristina made it her mission to find Bones a home by creating the "Adopt Bones!" advertising campaign. Complete with signs, QR codes, bumper stickers and even balloons, Cristina's campaign is attracting a lot of attention and hopes are high that Bones will find his forever home very soon.

"It's the community that are the lifesavers."

Since our visit, Bones has been moved to Humane Rescue Alliance in Washington, DC. Here, Cristina and the WCRAS team hopes he is able to leave the restrictions behind him and find his forever home. Help this come true by spreading the word and keeping up with his story on his Instagram account!
