Supporting the rescue community.

We're using this Shelter Shoutout to spotlight a couple of Pet Supplies Plus employees who go above and beyond to support the shelters and the people in their local communities. Bryan manages the Orange Park store and Rheannon manages the University location. They also happen to be husband and wife so you could say their passion for animals is a family affair.

Being locally owned and operated gives store team leaders like Bryan and Rheannon the freedom and the resources to support their local rescue communities in so many ways. From food donations and hosting adoption events to raising awareness about fostering and volunteering opportunities at local shelters, their stores are helping to get homeless pets into loving homes every day.

The family business.

Rheannon came to Pet Supplies first when she joined the Orange Park team in 2018. Her husband, Bryan, a former marine working in the food service industry, joined three years later. Today they each lead their own stores, actively volunteer in their communities and serve as a network to help support their local animal shelters.

Sharing a passion for community, Rheannon and Bryan were both seeking jobs that came with a sense of fulfillment and purpose. From helping to feed the homeless to working with animal welfare groups like Safe Animal Shelter and Animal Care and Protective Services, this dynamic duo is a shining example of how Pet Supplies Plus partners and supports local communities.
