Rescue is our favorite breed.

This Shelter Shoutout goes to the hardworking staff and their community of volunteers at Safe Animal Shelter . Serving Clay County, Duval County, Northeast Florida and the surrounding areas, Safe Animal Shelter has rescued, sheltered and re-homed over 18,000 cats and dogs since 1991. Check-out our video to see how this shelter is leaning on its community of volunteers and local businesses to keep its doors open, while a surging epidemic of homeless animals and decreased foot traffic due to local construction turn every day into a new challenge.

With support from Hill's Science Diet, Pet Supplies Plus is able to donate much needed food and supplies to animal shelters across the country. Being locally owned and part of the Jacksonville community, too, we take a ton of pride in being able to support them with donation drives and in-store adoptions.

As the store manager at the Pet Supplies Plus in Orange Park, Bryan maintains a close relationship with the team at Safe Animal Shelter. Knowing the challenges they're facing, when Bryan gets a call from the shelter asking for a favor his answer is almost always, "Give me 20 minutes." From adoption events to donation drives, the entire team at Pet Supplies Plus in Orange Park do whatever they can to help the shelter fulfill its mission to serve the pets and people of their community.
