  | Transforming lives. This Shelter Shoutout goes out to the people and pets at Animal Rescue Project in Kalamazoo, Michigan. With over 150 active volunteers dedicated to transforming the lives of even the most at-risk pets, their hard work is helping families throughout the community experience the joy of welcoming a rescue into their home.
With support from Hill's Science Diet, Pet Supplies Plus is able to donate much needed food and supplies to animal shelters across the country. Being locally owned and part of the Kalamazoo community too, we take a ton of pride in being able to support them with donation drives and in-store adoptions.. | | Meet Jack Frost After adopting a rescue dog several years ago, a heartbreaking accident set Jack on a path to do more for animals in need. What began as volunteer work quickly grew into something much bigger. Today, as one of the original Animal Rescue Project founders, Jack has led the charge on securing a new facility for the shelter to call home. The new building will significantly expand the shelter's capacity, include an in-house medical room and create new ways to bring the community's people and pets together.
"If I can save thousands of animals, then that's my gift."
The goal is to relocate all the animals and expand their community offerings before the end of this year.
